Great Paint Colors
Great paint colors are the foundation of a well appointed room. Whether they’re bold or act as a back drop, color is what sets a good room apart from a phenomenal one.
But, what makes a color great? While the colors each of us are drawn to is subjective, appreciating a room painted with a great color isn’t. Great paint colors transcend our color likes, and dislikes, by pulling a room together.
A room can be filled with accessories featuring an explosion of colors, but a great paint color will reign in those extremes and make it all look painstakingly planned.
Hallmarks of Great Paint Colors
We’ve already discussed the number one hallmark of a great paint color; that being a color which pulls an entire room together. Let’s take a look at a couple of others.
- They will relate strongly to something in the room.
- They don’t ignore aspects of a room that you dislike, or won’t be replacing in the near future.
- They take the room’s lighting, both natural and artificial, into account.
