Yes, I know that at almost 49 years of age one might think I would have outgrown my first color love; pink. But, think again!
We all have colors we like and dislike, but what colors do you actually love? Which color(s) make you stop and take happy note each time you see them? I believe it’s important to work our color loves into our decor and wardrobe for the positive energy they give. If one of your color loves is pink, like mine, you may not feel comfortable using it as a wall color, but incorporating it as an accent might be perfect. Think now, are you using your color loves in your home?
One look at this photo on Benjamin Moore’s Pinterest board and I was in love! After all, it’s dressed in my first color love. Sensual soft elegance is at play in this room and there’s not one element that I’d change. In fact, I can imagine spending many an afternoon in this space reading and writing to my heart’s content. The whisper of pink on the walls is gorgeous, but it’s the pink waterfall curtains that I can’t take my eyes off of! Both the wall and trim colors, Pink Damask and Chantilly Lace, are part of Benjamin Moore’s Color Trends of 2015; a collection of 23 beautiful colors.
Now it’s your turn! What are your color loves? And, have you used them in your home and wardrobe yet? Do tell.
